Costs

The basic cost of the workshop is €650 for doctoral students and post-docs and €850 for early-career faculty. The fees cover instruction, course materials, meals and snacks during the day and the opening dinner.

Financial support

Thanks to the ERA Chair in Social Innovation at Nova SBE we have limited funds that can support a few applications (e.g., by waiving the workshop fee). If you would like to be considered for this financial support, please specify in your application. Please note that we will likely not be able to support you with travel and accommodation expenses. PhD students from local and Global South institutions will be prioritized for financial support.

Lodging and Travel

Participants are expected to arrange (and bear the cost of) their own accommodations and travel. The nearest airport to campus is Lisbon International Airport. More details (including a list of hotels) will be given once participants are accepted.

To Apply

The workshop is limited to 25 participants. Applications will open on January 5th, 2026. The deadline for applications is March 1st, 2026. Selected participants will be informed by April 1st, 2026.
